Story

My father corredly predicted the oncoming war and the holocaust..He had to have great deal of money to comply with the requirements of the landing permit which was arranged by him taking a trip to th USA, and obtaining a loan from my American uncle.

We came out on the Italian ship “Romolo”. This ship was subsequently destroyed at sea on the return voyage because by that time, Italy had become part of the Axis.

When my father arrived in Melbourne, he said,”This is half as big as the New York General Cemetry.AND TWICE AS DEAD! How wrong he was as subsequent events proved. Personally, I never need to win the lottery, I have already won it just by being fortunate enough to be able to come to this country. GOD BLESS AUSTRALIA!!
