Elisa Young (nŽe Hansen)

Story

Elisa Young (nŽe Hansen) was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and came to Australia with her parents in 1911. Her father, Ole Peder Hansen was a builder and her mother (Boline Larsen) looked after the home.

Elsa lived in Western Australia for 90 years. She worked in Cunderdin, Perth, Northam during her single life and married William Henry Young in Maylands on 6th October 1934.

Elisa spent her married life in the W.A. goldfields – Keleberen, Laverton, Cox Find, Beria, Boulder, Bullfinch and Norseman.

Elisa passed away on 17th October 2001 at Norseman, aged 93yrs and was cremated at Kalgoorlie, W.A.

Elisa’s children: Joan Moulden – living, Ivan W. Young – deceased, John D Young – living, Elisa M. Snow – living, Edward Young – deceased, Jocelyn A. Mosta – living.
