Story
My name is Eh. I come from Thailand. I was born in Thailand, but I am not Thai. I am one of the Karen people. When I lived in Thailand the Thai soldiers treated the Karen people badly because they think we are animals in the zoo. We had to stay in the camp all the time.
I went to school in the camp. It was good.
I came to Australia from the refugee camp on 15th May 2007. I came with my uncle. My mother, my father, my sister and brothers stayed in the camp.
At first I went to school at SIEC in Dickson College to learn English. That was good for me and it was a lot of fun. Now I am studying in Year 11 at Dickson College. This year the rest of my family came to Canberra from the refugee camp.
I am happy here in Australia because it is a good country, not like my life in Thailand. In the future I want to be rap star.
