Story
My name is Eh Ka Lu. My parents were born in Karen state. My mother\’s family name is Mu. My mother told me about Burmese soldiers who came in my country. When the Burmese soldiers came to my country, suddenly they attacked my mother\’s family. Some people went to other places. My mother\’s family went to Thailand.
I was born in Thailand before I came to Australia. I lived in a village in Thailand until I was five years old. Then my family went back to Burma but it wasn\’t good so we came to Camp Mae La in Thailand and we lived there for seven years.
In Mae La Camp I had a good family. I have six siblings. I have four brothers and one sister. I have two brothers left in Mae La Camp now.
On 10th March 2009 my family came to Australia Ð me and my siblings are in Australia now. One day I think my two brothers will come to Australia. One day I want to be a nurse.
