Story
This was the story of love and Fortune in a land far far away……
They arrived like so many others to the surrounds of Northern Queensland to make their new life, family and to maintain the pursuit of happiness; in the unplundered land “Down Under”- Australia.
Dicovering Rich, fertile soils Egnazio worked the land with fellow Italian Cane Farmers, Hard work, in a harsh, snake Infested territory known as Tully. He laid the foundations to build his family’s Life.
Not long after migration Maria gave birth to her 1st of 3 sons and the rest became MY FAMILY History!
3 Generations later an inquisitive Great Grandson took the oppurtunity to chase up his true heritage and aknowledge His Families Amazing Journey through our unforgiving Environment so long ago.

The consequences of their direct actions back then, still warrants Recognition and Appreciation almost 100 years into the Future. I remain Proud and Grateful to Be an AUSTRALIAN with a direct Italian/Sicillian heritage.
