Part 2 of my original story and this is is an addition that I should have included
In 1965 I married Peter Trebilco and settled in Canberra at Stromlo Forestry Settlement. We had 2 children – Alison, ( who was a passenger in a fatal car accident and was the only survivor, and after many months in hospital is now leading a good life with husband Russel (whom she met at Canberra Hospital where he worked as a re-hab driver) and with their son Lachlan, have settled in Mudgeeraba Queensland
Chistine our other daughter with partner Matt and children Tori and Billy still live at the settlement returning after the 2003 bush fires devastated her old family home there. My husband, the girls’ father died at age 40.
In the coming years I met my future husband Ian McDougall and we married in Gretna Green Scotland in 2004 and reside in Canberra
