Story
A very simple tale.
Our son had emigrated to Australia and every year we came to visit. Each time we came we wanted to stay and each time we went back to England we realised Australia had won our hearts. We had travelled extensively and knew Australia was the best country in the world.
Our daughter was young free and single and was coming with us to Australia. However in the time it took to sort our our papers etc she met a man, married and had a baby. We still came to Australia and our son and his wife had a new baby as well.
Now we have a daughter in England with two children and a son in Victoria with two children. We will be poor forever as we bounce back and forth across the world to see our family but it is worth it.
No regrets, we miss English pubs and Marks & Spencers food hall.
A simple tale of simple people who found where they wanted to live in their middle age. We love Australia and became citizens as soon as we could.
