Story
Alexander (38) his wife Catherine (37) and their three children Elizabeth 12, Finlay 10, and Mary 5 years, arrived in Sydney on the ship “Blond”on 27th December 1849, paying Three pounds Ten shillings for the trip – they arrived in Canberra early January. Alexander worked as a shepherd for the Campbell Family at Mugga Mugga, with Mary helping him. Alexander died 1854. Catherine and Mary worked the Duntroon Dairy 1857 to 1859, Catherine died 11th November 1875.
Elizabeth 1836 – 1893. Married David Anderson 1862 one daughter Elizabeth (Bessie ) 1872 – 1934
