Family Story of the Late Adam Azzo from Assyria
Short Story
My Family Journey began from Assyria, whereby we were forced to flee to The Former Soviet Union due to the Genocide Committed against my People, the Assyrians During WW1 by the then Ottoman Government.
Two thirds of my People were Killed and I guess my Family were among the Lucky ones who Survived.
We left the Former Soviet Union due to the Weather and headed back to the Middle East and Finally Settled in Lebanon, which Housed us until the Civil War Broke out in 1975.
We found ourselves on the Run Yet Again and this time to the Most Beautiful Country in the World AUSTRALIA,
God Bless Australia and thank you Australia for the opportunities that you have Given us.
