Story

My life journey has taken me from France to Australia where I have been living since 1986. After completing a Maitrise/M.A. in English Language and Literature, I came to Melbourne to take up a position with the Department of Education of Victoria as a French Language Assistant at Melbourne Boys High School. Apart from my student days in Paris, I have lived all my adult life in Melbourne and Canberra and acquired Australian citizenship in 1990.

Parallel to teaching French or English to international students in a primary school, high schools, in adult education and universities, I acted and directed plays for the stage, picking up a jury prize for acting and two prizes for best direction. Later on I wrote and directed three short films, and a feature screenplay un-produced is expecting a more positive resolution.

I also found love in Australia and I am the mother of two daughters. My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary in January.

December 2008
