Story
Marcella arrived in Australia in 1938. came to Griffith NSW and met Eugenio Olivero. They were married in Sydney and returned to Griffith to live where they worked hard together growing vegetables until they were able to buy a farm at Tharbogang, close to Griffith.
Marcella’s pride and joy were her three children Corrado, Ron and Diana….and then when Simon Carol-Anne and Timothy….Maria and Stephen……Jane and John arrived. Marcella became the proudest Nonna imaginable.
Marcella produced the most magnificent feasts for special occasions, and her treats are still talked about at family gatherings.
Marcella died in Griffith 8yrs before Eugenio, at the age of 77yrs.
