Story

Left Fiji after first Military Coup in May 1987 as I was a Labor Party candidate during the 1987 Fiji General Elections. The Military were about to arrest me so I left Fiji with my wife, Louise and our two young children, Victoria (aged 11 yrs old) and Reno Paul (aged 16 yrs old) on 17th May 1987 for Australia

We came to Australia by Air Pacific Limited and settled with our second eldest daughter, Noeline at Hillsdale, NSW.

Our first impressions on arrival was that it was great to be in such a wonderful country of freedom and great hospitality shown to us by the Australian people we met up with.
