Story
My husband died before we were granted visas, so my 3 kids and I decided to migrate so we could start a new life and move on and to give my kids a better future in life.
The journey is exhausting; it’s 8hrs flight from Manila to Brisbane add to that the 11/2 hrs flight from Brisbane to Mackay, but aside from that it is a pleasant journey but I was a bit nervous and anxious about what lay ahead of us.
My impressions when we arrived in Australia were that people were nice and friendly especially in our town but we got culture shock a bit especially my kids but everything is good and we’re proud to be Australian citizens now.
