Story
The Watson family, father Leslie Herbert Watson, mother Hilda Grace Watson, and children Jacqueline Grace Watson, Dennis Leslie Watson, Teresa Grace Watson and Joseph Leslie Watson left Thatcham, Berkshire in England to start a new life with more opportunity in Australia.
Departed from Gatwick airport in July 1970 arrived in Sydney after stops in Karachi and Singapore. Flew with Caledonain Airlines.
Immediately felt at home.
Originally settling in NSW they later moved to WA. All the children have raised families and now live in WA, QLD and VIC. Parents Leslie and Hilda passed away and their ashes are held in Perth.
