Story
I left home because i was looking for a better future
My ship was called Castel Verdi, 26 days to get to Australia, it was a record voyage at that era because they found that we were running out of supplies. I worked on the ship helping in the kitchen and playing the trumpet, because that was the only way to journey on the ship to get to Australia.
I found 6 jobs in 1 hour, and everyone was begging me to please start straight away. I thought Australia was very backward because everything closed at 6pm sharp and Saturday was the last day of the week to get bread and everything closed at 1 pm sharp and nothing was open on Sundays.
