Story
Malcolm Jenkins and his family migrated to Australia from New Zealand by ship.
in search of a better life style.
Malcom Jenkins married Winifred Hawes on 22nd Feb 1879 later moving to Australia. They had 3 children Nesta, Gwen and Marjorie. When Nesta, the daughter, recalled the first impressions of her mother arriving in Yoogali at farm 253 in 1915 , she surveyed the dust, flies and felt the heat and said “This is the limit”. The farm from then on was called “The Limit”.
They farmed irrigation horticulture until retirement then moved to Sydney.
