Story
Ferdinand Cools 39jrs arrived in Australia July 1965 with his young family.Maria his wife ,and 5 children,4 daughters and 1 son.Their ages from 14 years to 18 months.With a few words of the language to speak it was not going to be easy.
But we looked forward to a bright future for us all.
Ferdinand, became (Fred) worked as a welder for a few years….But he had a dream,to build his own home and so after finishing this he made his choice].With his Builder`s licence in his hands,he made a start,he kept it small but was happy and very proud of his work.
Our children did all very well and have a family of their own. And our family in 2007 has grown to 28.
A family to be proud of, and includes names as, Logue,O’Sullivan,Blundell and Redden as in- laws.
This information was given by Maria who still lives in Canberra.
I hope that in the future many relatives will remember us, and I know that our children will be proud to have their father’s name for everyone to see……11 October 2007.
