Story
Luba travelled from war torn Russia to Australia with two small children, Inga and Anna.
She came on the good ship “Skaugum” from Naples arriving on 27/3/1950. Passenger 1694.
Luba was able to find employment as a factory worker.
At 60 years of age she married a beautiful Ozzie and had 25 wonderful years of partnership.
She loved her adopted country and her philosophy always was “You must learn well in school.”
Thank you mother, I am eternally grateful to you for bringing me to Australia and I am blessed with an excellent education.(Anna – her daughter)
